Seems like I have had to deal with a lot of incompetence as of late. Just makes me wonder how some people can keep their jobs when it is obvious they have no clue what they are doing.
I am sure that most have heard about IVAN, well it hit my area very hard. We lost the roof, got a big hole in our living room ceiling, lost trees in our yard as well as our fence. My sons school recieved a lot of damage as well. They are talking about tearing it down and starting over. He has had to go to school on double sessions (sharing a school and going from 12:15 to 5:15pm everyday. This alone has not been easy. Talk about screwing up the whole day. Needless to say; our lives have been turned upside down for awhile now.
Now for the point of this post: Well let's see, I have been waiting 3 months for our ins. claim the be processed. Finally I get the checks and they have made them out to us and two mortgage comp. Well we don't have two mortgages. So we had to send the checks back to them so they could fix their mistake.
Another two weeks go by and we get the checks again, they are right this time. So off the the mortgage comp. they go to be signed. This takes another two weeks. We get the checks back and they have only signed one of them So after calling them, off to the post office I go to overnight them the check they did not sign.
Well yesterday I call them to find out what is going on and they give me a tracking number, which is not mine. So now they have either lost my check or sent it to someone else. I call them back and of course I am put on hold until they close, so now they tell me I will have to wait to talk to someone this morning.
This is not all: as for the people that have been doing the work on my house. Well they have done nothing but screw it up more.
The people that came to remove the ceiling did not remove the nails or scrape the studs clean. So when they came to hang my ceiling those people had to fix it before they could start their job. Then they get in a fight on the job, so one guy leaves. Leaving one man here to hang the rock. Well it takes two poeple to hang rock. So my husband was hanging rock in our living room on his last night home before he has to go back to work. We even had to give the guy a ride home because he was left without a car.
Then they send someone else the hang crown molding. Well let's just say a two year old could have done a better job. He cracked the molding, messed up the corner molding, messed up the walls I had just finished painting. Yes, I had to paint my living room. He messed up a piece of the crown so they had to finish the job the next day. To top it off, he knocked off a hand carved boat that my husband had brought me back from Hawii and broke it. Did I mention it was priceless!!!!!

It has been a very long time since I posted, sorry but I have been very busy as of late. Just wanted to let everyone know I am still around and I will up-date my blog real soon. I hope everyone had a wonderful christmas and a safe new year!
Well hello again, it has been awhile. Sorry but I have been very busy las of late. I am tryin' to get things together so that I can go to Atlanta on Thurs.
I am going to one of the biggest F-Body car shows in the world. It is F-Body 8 Gathering, it has been going on for 8 years now. There is usally 3 to 4 hundred f-bodys there. It shood be very exiciting. I am going with alot of the people from my car club, just wish my husband was here to go with me. :(
Still have a few things to get together, I washed, claybar, and waxed my car today. Tomorrow I will have to clean and vacume it out and get all my stuff packed and ready to go. Also have to get my son ready to stay with family while I am gone.
Well I hope that when I get back I will have more time to blog. I really have missed being able to do so. I know I will sure have lots to tell about my trip and pics also :shock: I hope that everyone has a wonderful week and weekend.
Well I am feeling better this morning, it helps to just cry sometimes. We are off to a good start, got D.K off to school. Already got my shower and I am dressed for the day. Something I did not do yesterday. Which is a plus for me on getting to feeling better. I am fixing to go to WalMart and get some more paint and a tack cloth. So that I can finish my table sometime today.
I have to go to a luncheon at my sons school, they are giving for the volunteers. Which I did alot of this year, should be very nice. It will be nice to see everyone again, I had to stop for awhile because I have been so busy with my brother and other things. I am looking forward to it. Well I guess that I need to get on the road and get somethings done. Have a great day and a better tomorrow.
Well I decided to finally paint my dining room table and chairs. :shock: The chairs turned out great and the table well not quite finished with it yet. I ran out of paint and have not made it back to the store to get more. Hopefully I will finish it tomorrow. My sister-in-law talked me into doing it black and I am glad she did, it is gonna look great when I am finished. My husband is gonna be so surprised when he gets home, I can't wait to see the look on his face :shock: I am changing something in the house every time he goes back to work.
Well my brother is doing much better, hope he will be back home in a few more weeks. I know that he doesn't want to be there any longer than he has to. His spirit is up and that will help him in his recovery. :D
I had a sad day today!! I am really missing my husband. He has been gone 18 days now. Since things have slowed down and I have had some time to myself(well almost) it has started to sink in that he is gone and won't be home for awhile. :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: :cry: He is so wonderful to me and I miss him so when he is at work. I try to stay very busy but sometimes that doen't help much. Sometimes nothing helps, just has to pass with time and before ya know it he is home :D
Just want to say that I am sorry that I have not been posting much. I will try to do better and pull myself out of this rut I have let myself get into. :wink:

Well my brother made it through his double hip replacement without any complications. Now he has to get healed up and learn to walk again. I am just getting back in the door good from being at the hospital all day. Our mother is going to stay the night with him so he won't be alone. I am sure that they both will be fine tonight. I will be back up there first thing in the morning.
It is raining here in paradise, glad to see it. At least I won't need to worry about my flowers for a day or two.
:P Well I think I will go see if there is anything on the T.V and try to relax for a while before bed.

Well it has been a busy day. Worked out this morning, did a bunch of car club stuff. Got D.K to karate class, came home and cooked dinner. Glad the time has come to just relax.
I got ot watch my shows on the tube tonight, that was a nice change. When Bruce is home I let him watch what he wants because he does not get to watch to much T.V at work. While in the middle of one of them the phone rings and to my surprise :o it is my Husband. He was calling to let me know that he made it and that he missed me already and of course that he loved me very much. What a nice surprise to have him call, when I did not expect him to be able to. He is such a wonderful man. I am very blessed to have him in my life. I love you Bruce with all of my heart!!!!!!!!! :wink: What a great end to a good day!!! Hope that everyone has had a good day and will have a good week as well.
Well I had to take my Loving husband back to work this morning at 4am. He is flyin' from here to Singapor. He is going to be gone at least 2 to 4 months. I miss him already :cry: But atleast I can talk to him via e-mail everyday :D Just not the same as gettin' to hear his voice.
He gave me my Mother's Day present before he left. He got me a Sony 5.0 mega pixel digital camera with video capability. He is so good to me. What a wonderful gift to recieve. Thank you again Bruce, I love you very much!!!!

Well it is Sunday again and I have managed to not find the time to blog until today. Well it has been a very busy week as always. Let's see where to even begin.
Monday started off bright an early at 6:00am. Got D.K off to school, then to the gym I went. Had to deal with computer issues for most of the day. Then of course it was time for D.K to be home and get homework done. Cooked dinner and off to karate. Then I spent most of the evening dealing with car club stuff. That was just crasy. Even had to banned two people from coming back to our website.
Now for Tuesday, it started off the same as every morning. D.K to school, then the gym. Came home and cleaned carpets for the rest of the afternoon. By the time I was done D.K was home from school and the home work begins. Afterwards it time to get dinner cooked, so my guys can eat. Took it easy for the remainder fo the evening.
Well now it is Wednesday, hump day here we come. Up at 6:00am as always. To school we go to drop D.K off. Then home to do Pilates with Jena. After Jena left Bruce and I started the rest of our day. Which would consit of not a whole lot. We tried to just relax. D.K got home around 2:30 and then it was time for homework. Got dinner going, so that they could before karate. Then it is off to karate they go. Spent a quiet evening at home.
So now we are on Thursday. Well let's see, got D.K going and came home to go back to bed. I woke up feeling like ****. After I woke up again, we had some running to do. So off we went, here, there and everywhere. Stopped by Jena and Aaron's to see them for a few. Took my handsome nephew Hoot a teething ring, he has he 1st tooth coming in. He is getting so big, it is hard to believe he is already almost 6 months old. What a wonderful job they do in raising him. He is such a pleasure. :D
So now here comes Friday. Well lets see, up and running at 6am. Had to take my brother to the Dr., so Bruce got D.K off to school for me. Left the house around 7:45, we were at the Dr's. office until around 10:20, then he had another appointment that lasted for an hour. He bought me lunch and I got home around 2:45. We had an early dinner, so we could go to the drag strip in Holt. We had a great time, alot of our car club was there. We got home around 11:30 or so. I think we might have made it to bed around 12:30. What a long day!!!!!!!!
Yesterday was some what of a slow day. Slept in, I love when that can happen. Did a few things around the house, mostly laundry. Got ready for the family pics, we had to be there at 5:50. Did not take to long to do them and I think that mom might have even smiled. :lol: She doesn't like to take her pic. Then off to Burger King we went. A few of us from the car club ended up going to eat at Applebee's. Afterwards Tim and Gina came over to watch Cheaper By The Dozen, I think they left around 1am. We had another great night, long but great just the same.

Well I hope everyone had a Happy Easter today!!!! Ours so great, mostly relaxin'...
We have had a very long and busy weekend. Friday we spent an early Easter at the folks house with the family. What a great time and great food as usual. Played bochi ball. Jena won a game and Bruce and Aaron won the rest.
Saturday started off at karate class with our son Dakota.After he had a birthday party to go to. Around 5pm we went up to burger king with our car club and then off to the Ice Pilots game. Which they won in over time 2 to 1. Was gettin' worried towards the end but they scored.
Today we spent the morning with our son. This afternoon we went to visit Jena, Aaron and Hoot for a while. Later we went to visit with some friends. Came home and have taken it easy for the rest of the evening.
Back to the grind stone tomorrow. Get Dakota off to school, then go to the gym for kick boxin'. Afterwards I will be doing yard work, cleaning carpets, defrosting the freezer and helping my hubby with the surround sound speakers. Then it will be helping Dakota with home work, dinner, and karate class. Well I guess we will start this week out busy as usual.
This time change has got me all screwed up. I don't think I have slept good in a week and that just makes it hard to get motivated. Go to bed at 12:30 and get up at 6:00am does not make for a full nights sleep.
Had a good day in spite of no sleep. Cleaned the house, went to wally world and had Tim, Gina, and Evan over for dinner. The kids had a good time and so did the adults. It was nice to sit out back and just relax with friends.
Dakota came home with a bloody nose today. Some boy on the bus hit him in the nose because he accidentally hit him on the hand. Kids, what to ya do????? I did go to see him and told him it had better not happen again. He is in D.K's class at school and I think I might tell his mom and dad.
Well tomorrow we will be spending the day with family. Eating dad's briskit and playin' horse shoes. Mom and I will have a drink or two. Lookin' forward to another wonderful day. Saturday it is a birthday party, then off to burger king for a while and the to watch the ICE PIOLITS in the play off, my family just LOVES soccer.
Well guess it is time to get some sleep for a change. I do not have to get up early tomorrow. Good night to all!!
Well I have had a very relaxing and wonderful day. It was very nice to a able to spend our anniversary togther. Bruce took us out to dinner to top the day off. No cooking or cleaning up for me, today. :D :D :D :D :D

Well my wonderful husband has turned 29 today!! Getting a little closer to the BIG 30, LOL... I made him lasagna and strawberry short cake. We had friends and family over. Hope he has enjoyed his day.
Our anniversary is in three days, We have been married for two wonderful years. I am sure that there are many more to follow. Life just keeps getting better and better.
It has truely been a good day!!!!

Well I think my husband is in hog's heaven today. He got some new toys. I got him a skeet thrower for our Anniv. on the 6th of April and he also got a new chain saw(just because he need it). It was like seeing him on christmas morning. I love to make him SMILE!!!!!! :D :D :D
Well I found out this morning that I am not in as good of shape as I thought I was. Went to my first kick boxing class. Boy did it kick my A_ _ !!!! I think every muscle in my body hurts and even some I did not know were there. Hopfully by morning I will feel better cuz it's back to the gym again. =http://img34.photobucket.com/...
Well today we got most of the yard work finished and got some sun. It is sure a good feeling to know that our yard is getting back to normal. My sweet husband got my sprinkler back up and running. This year no more hand watering :D. Our son is very tired from all the work he did to help. He is growing up so fast. Can't believe he will be 8yrs. old in just a couple of months. It is truley a joy to have him in our lives.
Well I have to say, my husband has been home for less than a week and I don't think we have stopped. Between the kids, the gym, the stores and the yard, ect.; we have been very busy. We have also been trying to get visiting family and friends in between all of that. Looks like there is not going to be a break any time soon either. We have a full weekend ahead and he will be going back to work in 22 days and may be gone for 3 months or longer. but as always we will handle it all with a smile and just be glad to be together. On the brite side, we will be able to spend our anniv. and his b-day together. :lol: Hopefully I will be able to blog tomorrow. Gonna go get some rest so I can start all over again in the am.
Well my daughter and some of her friends got rearended by some of their other friends last night. Everyone came out very lucky, one broke arm and one stiched up forhead and alot of bumps and bruises. Both cars are gone. Everyone is home safe and sound. I am sure that they will all hurt very much today and for the next few days. [u]Thank GOD; for he was watching over them last night.[/u]
